Where to Use the Pharmaceutical Lab in Starfield
In the settled systems, there are numerous labs available, but players will initially have access to the first Pharmaceutical Lab located in the basement of the Lodge, which serves as Constellation's home base. This area is equipped with all the necessary crafting stations, with the Pharmaceutical Lab situated towards the right of the staircase when viewed from the basement. Look for a green first aid kit mounted on the wall, positioned just above the lab.
As players venture through the settled systems, they are likely to come across Pharmaceutical Labs in various locations. These labs are commonly found in scientific or research-based outposts. While some ships may also have a Pharmaceutical Lab, they are not as frequently encountered as other crafting stations. It's important to note that travel in Starfield is exceptionally convenient, allowing players to quickly access the Lodge for much of the game.
How to Use the Pharmaceutical Lab in Starfield
The Pharmaceutical Lab, along with other crafting systems, is closely connected to Starfield's Research Lab and skill tree. Upon opening the lab menu, players will initially find a limited selection of craftable items. This limitation is a direct result of the aforementioned systems.
In order to increase the variety of choices, players must first explore all the available options in the Pharmacology section of the Research Lab. Initially, this will only include Performance Enhancement 1 and Medical Treatment 1.
Each category of items will have multiple levels, and progressing through these levels will necessitate the player investing skill points into Chemistry, which is located within Starfield's Science skill branch. Acquiring this skill will grant access to new research levels, ultimately allowing for the creation of a wider range of items at the Pharmaceutical Lab.
