Unraveling the Mystery of Elle's Fate in Fast X: Sung Kang Reveals All

During an interview with Insider, Fast X actor Sung Kang revealed why Elle (Anna Sawai) did not appear in the latest installment of the Fast & Furious franchise. Although Elle joined Dom Toretto's (Vin Diesel) crew at the end of F9, her whereabouts in Fast X remain unknown. Kang explained that a scene revealing her location was filmed but did not make the final cut of the film. However, Kang hinted that audiences have not seen the last of Elle, and there may be a reunion between her, Han (Kang's character), and Gisele Yashar (Gal Gadot).

This could prompt Mr. Nobody to come out of hiding and approach Elle concerning Han's current status.

Fast X purposely left many plot threads unresolved, and there are numerous characters who appeared in previous films now in danger due to Dante's pursuit of them. The upcoming movie could potentially focus on these characters, such as Elle, before they join forces with Dom's crew to face off against Dante. It remains to be seen how Elle's return will impact the franchise, with the sequel to Fast X slated for release in theaters in 2025.
