Starfield's main quest line starts off slow, but picks up speed in Into the Unknown, one of the possible story missions available after players have finished exploring the Settled Systems and beyond. The mysteries of the universe become more perplexing here, and new elements come into play as Constellation makes a significant discovery.
While this quest is relatively straightforward, it can be confusing at times. It's important to note that Starfield's procedural generation can result in players being sent to different sets of planets. However, the objectives remain consistent. To help navigate through this quest, here is a guide detailing each step and how to successfully complete them.
Into the Unknown: Get the Artifacts and Find Andreja
This part will be divided into two sections. Initially, players must collect two artifacts and locate Constellation member Andreja who is already working towards securing one of them. Proceed to The Eye, a space station operated by Constellation, and consult with Vladimir to obtain the coordinates for these objectives. The specific locations may differ for each player; in our case, one artifact was located in Tau Cetti II and Andreja was found in an abandoned mine on the planet Sumati in the Narion system.
Fortunately, this portion of the quest is a straightforward task where the player needs to quickly collect the artifacts and remove the caelumite crystals surrounding them. Subsequently, return to the Lodge and communicate with the remaining crew members. It is crucial to be prepared for a potential confrontation during the segment with Andreja, as there might be hostile spacers or pirates involved.
Back at the lodge, arrange the artifacts on the table and regroup with the team. Subsequently, players will be instructed to journey to Procyon III, an alternate planet, to scrutinize a scanner anomaly.
