TotK Kudanisar Shrine Walkthrough
Located in the southwestern area of Hyrule, just south of Gerudo Highlands in the Gerudo Desert, TotK's Kudanisar Shrine, also known as Bridging the Sands, requires players to build Zonai devices to travel over the sand once they step inside. The shrine's coordinates are approximately -4171, -2145, 0050.
Players will encounter a challenge at the beginning of the shrine where they must navigate through sand using Ultrahand to pick up slabs of wood to create a path. Link won't perish in the sand, but it will cost players a significant amount of stamina to traverse it. The objective is to construct a path leading to the raised gate. Once there, combine two planks of wood to climb over the gate, as depicted in the image below:
Defeat the Construct in the next area and proceed towards the ladder leading to the elevated platform where the locked exit door of the shrine is situated. Upon reaching the platform, activate the glowing switch located in front of the gate to launch a small ball across to the other side of the shrine. Your objective is to retrieve the ball and bring it back to this platform, where you can place it into the recess in front of the gate to unlock it.
For those players looking for a faster way to complete the shrine, they can employ the Recall skill on the ball immediately after launching it, which will bring it back to the platform. Once it returns, players must quickly use the Ultrahand to grasp the ball and carefully place it into the illuminated hole.
To the right of the shrine's exit, players can spot a suspended chest hanging on a rope before heading towards the small ball on the other side. By shooting an arrow at the rope, the chest can be released and retrieved with the Recall ability.
After obtaining the chest, players will come across various devices that aid in creating a sand-traveling machine. By attaching a fan to a flat board and adding a steering wheel, players can easily control the machine. An example of this machine can be seen in the image below.
To find another chest, turn towards the right when facing the opposite side of the shrine where the ball landed. You'll see a solitary raised platform protruding from the sand. Ascend the platform and defeat the Construct guarding the chest. Inside, Link will find a Hasty Elixir that can be consumed to increase his speed for five minutes. Before climbing, locate a piece of wood to create a ramp near the top of the structure.
Now, head to the main structure where the ball was launched to and use Ascend on the side of it to get inside.
Defeat the Constructs present in the area and activate the switch located near the speedboats to unlock the gate. Once the small ball starts moving towards the shrine's front, players need to retrieve it, attach it to their speedboat, and transport it to the raised platform where it was launched. However, the challenge lies in elevating the ball to the top of the platform.
Players can employ various techniques to achieve this, but we devised an 'L' shaped structure using two wooden planks and secured the ball at the apex. Next, we ascended the ladder, employed Ultrahand to detach the ball from the plank, and inserted it into the ball hole to gain access to the shrine.
Pass through the freshly unlocked gate of Kudanisar Shrine to obtain an additional Light of Blessing, which will enhance Link's health and stamina. Experience The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom on the Nintendo Switch.
