Regardless of the player's chosen method, once Helsik agrees, she will provide them with an ancient grimoire. This grimoire contains detailed instructions on how to perform the Helsik Ritual and the essential items needed to successfully summon the portal to the Nine Hells. How to Perform the Helsik Ritual
The Helsik Ritual requires the player to arrange five objects in a specific order on a bloody circle within the Ritual Room. This room can be accessed through Helsik's Room, which is located upstairs in the Devil's Fee. In order to complete the ritual, the player will need to utilize five specific items provided by Helsik: a skull, the Coin of Mammon, a diamond, incense, and the Infernal Marble.
To complete the ritual, the player must drop certain items from their inventory onto specific locations on the bloody ritual map. The instructions for the ritual can be found in the book "Opening a Hell Gate" and are also provided below. When the player and their party enter the Ritual Room, they should walk past the altar and reach the top of the sigil on the ritual map. Once there, the skull should be placed at the center point, closest to the altar.
Coin of Mammon - Traveling clockwise, position this item in the very next circle.
Diamond - The diamond should be placed in the bottom right corner circle.
Incense - The incense should be placed in the bottom left circle, directly next to that of the diamond.
Infernal Marble - The Infernal Marble should be placed in the center of the bloody sigil.
Placing the items correctly will trigger Helsik's Ritual and open a gateway to the Nine Hells, allowing the player and their party to enter Avernus and reach the House of Hope in Baldur's Gate 3.
