The side quest titled "Find Your Belongings" can be initiated by interacting with a Tiefling child named Mattis in The Hollow (X:248 Y:557) in the game Baldur's Gate 3. The objective of this quest is to locate stolen belongings, and there are multiple approaches that players can take to complete it. This guide aims to provide detailed information on these approaches, making it easier for players to resolve the Find Your Belongings side quest in Baldur's Gate 3.

It is important to note that players are advised to first save Arabella, another Tiefling child, before attempting to complete the Find Your Belongings quest. This can be done by engaging in a conversation with Kagha, who can be found in the nearby Emerald Grove (accessed through a door at X:224 Y:527 near the Sacred Pool). While it is still possible to recover the stolen items without saving Arabella, players will face an additional skill check or have to pay a reasonable amount of Gold.

Learn About Mol

Upon receiving Find Your Belongings, players have the option to descend the nearby ladder and engage with the Rocky Crevice, resulting in a journal update. Fans of CRPG can subsequently return to Mattis and inquire if they have "acquired anything" for an additional update, leading them to Mol.

Talk to Doni

To gain access to "Mol's office" in BG3, players will need to find an alternate route as the Rocky Crevice is too small. A helpful approach involves interacting with Doni, a young Tiefling located just west of Mattis (X:226 Y:550). By choosing the "turn around to see what has his attention" dialogue option, Doni will lead players through some nearby rocks. Successfully investigating the area will unveil a secret entrance.

Players do not need to reload if they fail this Intelligence Check, as they can still reach Mol.

Talk to Doni Again After a Long Rest

After Doni disappears, players are advised to take a Long Rest. This action will cause the Tiefling child to reappear, prompting fans to inquire about his disappearance and triggering a Wisdom Check. A successful outcome on this check will unlock a Persuasion dialogue option, and if players pass a subsequent Charisma Check, they will gain access to the Concealed Hatch and be able to enter the Tiefling Hideout.

Failing the final Charisma Check is not a major issue, as players can simply bribe Doni with some Gold. However, failing both the Intelligence and Wisdom Checks may result in the Concealed Hatch remaining hidden. In this case, fans should complete the Investigate the Beach side quest to acquire a password for entering the hideout. To initiate this quest, players need to speak with the Entranced Child located to the east of Druid Grove. The precise location of the child can be found on the accompanying map.

Talk to Mol

Once inside the Tiefling Hideout, players should take a few steps forward until Mol's location appears on their minimap. For avid gamers of D&D-themed games, it is advisable to patiently wait for Mol to reach the center of the hideout's main chamber before approaching her. Rushing to engage the Tiefling prematurely will cause her to leave the hideout, requiring players to exit, reenter, and try again.

Fans can choose "thought you might need help with something" to start the Steal the Sacred Idol side quest and later select "I'm shy of a few belongings" to finish the Find Your Belongings side quest in Baldur's Gate 3.
