Salma Hayek has revealed her secret to maintaining a youthful glow: focusing on the mind. Instead of relying on botox, the 56-year-old actress shared in an episode of Kelly Ripa's "Lets Talk Off Camera" podcast on July 19 that she turns to regular meditation.

Due to various factors related to my body and health, I have inadvertently discovered a unique form of meditation that keeps progressing. I find myself able to engage in this practice for extended periods of time, as the concept of time becomes irrelevant, and it is truly enjoyable," Hayek shared with Ripa, who is 52 years old.

Hayek went on to elaborate, stating, "Essentially, it entails tapping into the energy within oneself. This energy flows and moves, offering a multitude of distinct emotions and sensations."

Her use of frequency machines enhances her practice. "Sometimes after I finish, people exclaim when I leave the room, 'Oh, my God. You look 20 again,'" she commented.

Hayek went on to share that when she doesn’t meditate, “everything stars to drop” on her face and body.

In other parts of the episode, Hayek shared her secrets with Ripa on concealing gray hairs and impressing her fans, including her husband, François-Henri Pinault, with her constant good looks.

According to Hayek, the key is to post highly glamorous photos on Instagram and occasionally share makeup-free pictures which create excitement among her followers.

Hayek recently demonstrated the effectiveness of her approach on Instagram. In a candid selfie, she showcased her natural beauty and playfully commented, "Each morning, I wake up and tally the number of silver strands and lines that have joined the party."

Regarding her husband, Hayek revealed to Ripa that she purposely doesn't look great every day at home so that when they go out, he is amazed by her appearance. She believes that if he becomes accustomed to her looking fabulous at home, there would be no room for improvement.

Earlier in February 2021, Hayek expressed her admiration for Pinault, who is 61 years old, during an episode of Dax Shepard's "Armchair Expert" podcast. She mentioned that his true essence and charisma cannot be fully captured in pictures. He has helped her become a better person and has contributed to her personal growth in a positive and healthy way.

Hayek also responded to speculations about marrying Pinault for financial gain, stating, "I simply brush it off. Think what you will. We've been together for fifteen years, and our love is resilient. It doesn't even affect me." The couple exchanged vows on Valentine's Day in 2009 and are parents to their 15-year-old daughter, Valentina.
