Salma Hayek is embracing her cowgirl style once again, all thanks to Beyoncé.
She took to Instagram on Wednesday, April 3 to showcase her western-inspired outfit. The 57-year-old actress paired low-waisted blue jeans with a white Kntry Radio Texas T-shirt, a reference to a fictional station from Beyoncé's latest country album, Cowboy Carter, released on March 29. To complete her look, Hayek added a black cowgirl hat and stylish aviator sunglasses.
In the social media carousel, Hayek shared throwback photos of her and Penélope Cruz from their 2006 movie, Bandidas. The movie is about two women who become bank robbers to stop a businessman from stealing land. In the film, Hayek wore a gray cowgirl hat, brown corset, holster belt, and patterned pants. Her hair was styled in tight curls and she had soft makeup on.
Cruz, who is now 49, was dressed in a white corset with a button-down top, low-waisted pants, and a brown hat. She styled her hair in two braids.
"Hey @beyonce, Penélope and I have been eagerly anticipating this album for 20 years!" she excitedly wrote. "It's finally here and it was definitely worth the wait. #CowboyCarter @penelopecruzoficial."
Beyoncé’s Cowboy Carter is the second part of a music project consisting of three acts. This album contains 27 country tracks with collaborations from artists like Miley Cyrus, Dolly Parton, Willie Nelson, Post Malone, and more. Act I: Renaissance was released in July 2022.
