The Kyubi, an iconic weapon in Cyberpunk 2077, has received an upgraded version in the recently released expansion, Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty. Players can now acquire the Kyubi XMOD2 by visiting Dogtown, making it easily accessible. Unlike many other iconic weapons in the game, the Kyubi XMOD2 is a must-have item that players should not overlook. In Night City, technological advancements are constant, and even a mythical fox-inspired weapon like the Kyubi cannot escape the influence of technology. The upgrade it has received makes it one of the best weapons in the game, provided players can overcome the challenges in obtaining it.

Head to the Pond Outside the Roar of Eden

Once players arrive in Dogtown, they can conveniently travel to the Golden Pacific area, which is situated in close proximity to the EBM Petrochem Stadium. Referencing the provided image below, players can easily identify the specific area they need to navigate towards. Upon arrival, players will be greeted by a majestic lion statue standing proudly at the Roar of Eden building. Additionally, to the right, another magnificent lion statue can be spotted at the Pride of Eden Casino.

All players simply need to proceed ahead until they come across the Roar of Eden and spot the pond situated slightly to the left. Upon reaching the pond, players must dive in and swim towards the center of this murky body of water.

Follow the trail of green smoke down to discover a lifeless body, weighed down by cement and tethered by a cable, forever resting in this eternal spot. Underneath the cadaver lies the Kyubi X-MOD2 Power Assault Rifle. To avoid suffocation, players can ascend by pressing and holding the A/Space/X button while looking upwards, allowing them to reach the surface before drowning, and finally effortlessly pull themselves out of the water using the ledge.
