CD Projekt Red has previously stated that they will provide a "hands-on" preview of their first and only DLC for Cyberpunk 2077 during this year's SGF. The expansion, announced in April 2022, promises to add an espionage storyline and new gameplay mechanics, such as a revamped melee system, to the popular RPG. In December, CDPR announced that Idris Elba would be joining the cast as the grizzled spymaster Solomon Reed. Although little has been revealed about the expansion since then, CDPR has confirmed that more information will be shared in June.

Despite the troubled launch of Cyberpunk 2077, some fans may still be hesitant to pre-order the upcoming DLC. However, the technical issues that plagued the game's release on previous console generations will not affect the new expansion. Additionally, CDPR's recent announcement that their best-ever quarter was attributed to Cyberpunk 2077 highlights the game's successful turnaround since its debut in late 2020.
