The anime is set to premiere on January 4, 2024. The series is based on the eponymous fantasy light novel series by author Tsuyoshi Fujitaka and illustrator Chisato Naruse. Originally launched on the Shosetsuka ni Naro website, the series was acquired by Earth Star Entertainment and has since been published in 14 volumes.

The latest trailer for the My Instant Death Ability Is So Overpowered anime captivatingly teases the plot. It begins with a scene where a boy named AΩ, endowed with the Instant Kill ability, invades a mysterious facility and kills several people to find Asagiri.

Sayaka Kikuchi has been cast as Sora Akino, while Kiyono Yasuno will be voicing Ryoko Ninomiya. Sora Akino is portrayed as a stunning girl who previously worked as an idol before being summoned to the Isekai world.

On the flip side, Ryoko's character is intricately tied to Yogiri. In addition to them, Shohei Komatsu takes on the role of Haruto Otori, a character who tackles challenges with logical thinking, while Shogo Sakata portrays Taku Yazaki, the class leader.

In addition, Anna Suzuki will be providing the voice for Carol S. Lane, a high school girl from America who, like the others, has been transported to another world. The cast members have expressed their excitement about portraying their respective roles. Earlier, it was revealed that Kouki Uchiyama, known for his portrayal of Meruem in Hunter x Hunter, will play the character Yogiri in the anime "My Instant Death Ability Is So Overpowered," and Miyu Tomita, the voice of Miko in Kaguya-Sama Love Is War, will take on the role of Tomochika.

Adapted from Tsuyoshi Fujitaka's light novel series, the anime will center on Yogiri Takato, who finds himself transported to another world with his classmates. Interestingly, he slept through the entire Ordeal process and missed out on the Gift (powers) granted to the others by the Sage who transported them.
