However, fans should note that five games are scheduled to leave Xbox Game Pass on May 31, including Europa Universalis 4, Evil Genius 2, FIFA 21, Floppy Knights, and Lawn Mowing Simulator. Xbox Game Pass subscribers are no strangers to the regular additions and departures of games, as Microsoft announces new line-ups in two waves, surprises and announcements are sprinkled in, and games can be added at any time.
Chicory and Farworld are two indie games that have recently joined Xbox Game Pass, and they are definitely worth checking out. Chicory, in particular, is a top-down adventure game set in a magical coloring book world. As players explore this world, they must use their painting and drawing skills to bring it to life. The game has received high praise from critics, with an 88 Top Critic Average on OpenCritic and 96% of Critics recommending it. With typical sandbox elements such as crafting and resource mining, players can choose to take a more militant approach to the surrounding galaxy. While reviews for this title are yet to pour in, its potential is undeniable. Along with Farworld Pioneers, Xbox Game Pass subscribers can also look forward to upcoming titles such as Car Mechanic Simulator 2021, Slayers X: Terminal Aftermath, Amnesia, and Dordogne in June 2023.
