After months of underwater exploration in Genshin Impact, it's no wonder that the underwater environment is just as breathtaking as the land above. The beautiful flora and fauna make diving an immersive experience.
Similar to other areas in Genshin Impact, the underwater region in Fontaine is filled with Chests and challenges. One of these challenges involves activating all resonance points using the Blubberbeast Sonar skill. Achieving this task can be accomplished by following these steps.
How To Activate All Resonance Points With Blubberbeast Sonar In Genshin Impact
To successfully activate all resonance points in Genshin Impact, players must initially acquire the Blubberbeast Sonar ability from a Blubberbeast. Subsequently, they should utilize this newfound skill to strike the nearby conches.
Here’s a complete step-by-step guidance for this task:
Find a sea lion-like creature, then use the "Normal Attack" button to borrow the Blubberbeast’s power
Start the challenge to gain insight into the resonance point’s locations
Hold the Blubberbeast Sonar power and hit the conches with it until all the conch are resonating
The conch in Genshin Impact will resonate effectively when players observe a circular pulsation around its location. If players are unsure of the resonance point, they can utilize Elemental Sight or return to the challenge mechanism and opt to display all points once more. The former method is strongly recommended due to its greater practicality and precision.
After all resonance points are activated, a Chest should appear as a reward for finishing the challenge
Blubberbeast In Fontaine
Blubberbeasts are aquatic creatures that bear resemblance to sea lions or seals. Their main skill involves emitting a continuous sonar wave, which inflicts minimal harm but can be unleashed without any cooldown. This ability proves highly effective when dealing with small breakable items or feeble underwater adversaries.
In Genshin Impact, Blubberbeast's Sonar has the unique ability to penetrate objects, allowing players to activate mechanisms behind gates. To locate these mechanisms, players can utilize the Echoing Conch, which reveals resonance points indicating significant objects within the area. Additionally, while exploring underwater structures, players may encounter injured Blubberbeasts that require assistance.
In the underwater Fontaine, players will encounter various creatures resembling real-life animals such as jellyfish and seahorses. While many schools of fish are purely decorative, adding to the immersive exploration experience, there is a particular group of fish known as the Recovery Orbs. Interacting with these fish allows players to restore stamina and heal themselves during their underwater exploration in Genshin Impact.
Genshin Impact is now available on Mobile, PC, PS4, and PS5. A Switch version is in development.
