Cyberpunk 2077: Gig The Man Who Killed Jason Foreman Guide
: A Guide to Completing Gig: The Man Who Killed Jason Foreman in Cyberpunk 2077's Phantom Liberty DLCMeet with Briana During the Evening Vigil (10pm-6am)
To begin the Man Who Killed Jason Foreman gig in Cyberpunk 2077's Phantom Liberty DLC, players should travel to the Longshore Stacks located in southwest Dogtown. After completing the main mission Get it Together, fans can initiate the gig. To progress further, it is recommended to utilize the Skip Time feature located in the bottom-left corner of the menu. This will allow players to fast forward to any hour between 10pm and 6am.
Players should now approach Briana, who is positioned near the vigil indicated by the mission waypoint in the game, in order to obtain initial details about Leon Rinder. Engaging in a conversation with Briana will culminate in her offering a shard which, when cracked open, will unveil the subsequent mission objective. To ensure complete clarity, this particular shard is titled "Archived Conversation: Jason Foreman and Slava Makarov," and it can be accessed in the Shard menu by navigating to the Encrypted tab.
Enter the Abandoned Motel and Find Rinder
It is now the appropriate moment to proceed towards the abandoned motel, located outside the entrance gate of Dogtown, by following the designated waypoint within the game. Engaging in battles or adopting stealth tactics, players will encounter multiple adversaries on their journey to the third floor of the building.
Cyberpunk 2077: Should You Shoot Rinder or Not
Upon arrival on this floor, individuals should proceed to the restroom located in the northeast corner and engage the metal door. This interaction will prompt a confrontational encounter with Yasha Ivanov, providing players with the opportunity to utilize their preferred weaponry from Cyberpunk 2077 for his defeat.
Following the encounter with Ivanov, players will proceed to the bathroom's sturdy metal door and engage in a dialogue with Rinder. This crucial conversation presents a pivotal decision for fans to contemplate - whether to execute Rinder as their instructions dictate, or spare his life. Each choice has its own set of corresponding consequences.
Shoot Rinder
Players of Cyberpunk 2077 who choose to shoot Rinder during the conversation will easily eliminate the unarmed target. They can then search his body to find the valuable dog tags. These tags should be brought back to Briana in the Longshore Stacks. By completing this task, players will finish the Gig: The Man Who Killed Jason Foreman and earn a reward of 8,000 eddies.
Do Not Shoot Rinder
Players who refrain from shooting Rinder will be given the chance to negotiate with him. In particular, Rinder will be willing to surrender his dog tags and disclose the precise coordinates to a hidden cache of equipment in return for sparing his life.
Accepting this deal will initiate a new mission known as "Addicted to Chaos," which will guide players to a garage located in Dogtown. By utilizing the code provided by Rinder, fans will gain access to this garage, wherein they will discover the Dezerter Iconic Power Double-Barrel Shotgun nestled within a container. Once obtained, players are then able to deliver the dog tags to Briana, thereby concluding this Cyberpunk 2077 gig and claiming the aforementioned reward of 8,000 eddies.
Regarding the best option, the Cyberpunk 2077 Iconic offering as a reward does provide some motivation to spare Rinder's life. However, players who prioritize immersion and believe that letting Rinder survive goes against their concept of V should not hesitate to take decisive action.
Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty can be played on PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X/S.
