Remnant 2: Hellfire Location

Unleash Infernal Havoc: Mastering the Hellfire Flamethrower in Remnant 2

The Hellfire is located within a blazing crater in the Root-infested iteration of Earth. Access to this fiery pit is granted to players only after they have triumphed against the primary adversaries in N'Erud, Losomn, and Yaesha. Positioned in close proximity to the decimated freeway, this particular crater marks the initial area of the perilous journey.

Start at the freeway's upper entrance by the checkpoint. Jog along the sunken path until you reach the crowded main street filled with parked cars. Confront the swarm of small Root monsters and search for a sizable truck positioned at the right side, protruding off the ground. Climb over the scattered wreckage and you will discover the Hellfire weapon hidden in the crater, beneath the cargo container. Initially, this spot may easily go unnoticed, but fortunately, there are no additional complications or tricks associated with this concealed location.

Upon firing the weapon, players will immediately notice a significant change from its previous iteration in Remnant: From The Ashes. The weapon has transformed into a fully functioning flamethrower, equipped with a built-in Mod that functions as a grenade launcher. Renamed as the Hellfire, it now lives up to its fiery nature by inflicting Fire damage and causing targets to burn.

However, the Hellfire does have a notable limitation in Remnant 2 - its range. The flames can only reach a maximum distance of eight meters before dissipating, rendering it ineffective against specific bosses and presenting challenges when facing opponents who attack from a distance.

The weapon, however, compensates for this drawback with its incredible power to cause destruction. By equipping accessories such as the Talisman of the Sun, Fire Stone, and other items that interact with negative status effects, players can effortlessly annihilate waves of enemies at close quarters. Hellfire is a viable option for AoE damage, acting as a substitute for the Enigma. Additionally, it offers a competent alternative to Nebula and its acid-centric assaults.

Remnant 2 is currently accessible on PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X/S.
