Singers are not the only ones at risk of flying objects.
A video posted on social media revealed actress Florence Pugh being struck in the face by an object thrown from the crowd at a "Dune: Part Two" event in São Paulo, Brazil over the weekend.
Pugh was taking photos with fellow cast members Austin Butler, Timothée Chalamet, and Zendaya when the incident occurred. It is unclear who threw the unidentified object. Entertainment Weekly reported that the incident took place shortly after Pugh had participated in a panel discussion about the upcoming film.
Pugh expressed her excitement at being with these people and working with them at the event. She also acknowledged the impact of the first movie and the special feeling of being part of the second one. Additionally, in the past year, artists such as Bebe Rexha and Harry Styles have been hit on stage by items thrown by audience members during concerts.
CNN has reached out to a representatives for Pugh for comment.
