In Fontaine, players can discover a concealed treasure chest by targeting birds with a bow character near the deserted houses in the Beryl Region. As a reward, they will receive Hydro Sigils. The forthcoming update for Genshin Impact is anticipated to unveil the northern expanse of Fontaine, bringing forth fresh characters and possibly additional enigmas to unravel.

The floodgates of Fontaine have been opened with the release of Version 4.0, allowing Genshin Impact fans to explore the new region of Teyvat. Among the picturesque mountains and sunken ruins, one player made an incredible discovery of hidden treasure. While it is customary for the Genshin Impact community to thoroughly search new zones soon after their release, Fontaine has proven to be exceptionally rewarding and complex. Although not as frustrating as Inazuma's puzzles, the Hydro nation has still kept players occupied, both on land and underwater.

Fontaine represents the culmination of lessons and feedback gathered from the Inazuma and Sumeru regions, incorporating elements such as Pneuma and Ousia, polarities, hydrograna manipulation, and borrowing abilities from aquatic creatures. Many players agree that the exploration experience in Genshin Impact continues to improve. While upgrading the Fountain of Lucine requires fewer Hydro Sigils compared to the Tree of Dreams in Sumeru, obtaining all the chests in Fontaine remains a significant challenge.

Some treasure chests in Genshin Impact can be difficult to locate, especially if their spawn conditions are different from the usual exploration mechanics in each area of Teyvat. One such difficult-to-find treasure chest was discovered by ChibiCreed, who shared their findings with the official Genshin Impact community on Reddit. While this treasure chest is also featured as a mini puzzle on the Teyvat Interactive Map, players can also find it by teleporting to the Beryl Region in Fontaine, specifically at the southeast waypoint.

In a video guide, it is shown that to solve the puzzle, Genshin Impact players need to switch to a character with a bow and aim at the birds flying near the abandoned houses. If they successfully hit the birds, an Exquisite Chest will appear in front of the buildings, granting players two Hydro Sigils and bringing them closer to achieving 100% Map Completion for the latest zone in Genshin Impact.

Although fans have thoroughly enjoyed their introduction to Fontaine, the upcoming update is expected to open up its northern regions for players to explore. The Version 4.1 banners for Genshin Impact showcase Wriothesley, Neuvillette, Hu Tao, and Venti, with the first two characters also playing significant roles in the Archon Quest. While details about the new zone are still scarce, it can be safely assumed that it will offer its fair share of puzzles. Genshin Impact is currently available on Mobile, PC, PS4, and PS5, with a Switch version currently in development.
