In the last installment, the audience observed Kuro's attempt to pass the entrance exam at Kodan High School. With some assistance from Hachiya, who left the answers on the classroom floor, Kuro successfully finished the Japanese paper, but ultimately gave up.
Kuro had gotten to know Noguchi during this time, as they had both taken the test together. Bringing Noguchi back to his residence, Kuro introduced Kawado as his mother. Afterward, he began to ask about different aspects of school life, such as student groups, social structures, and instances of bullying. Noguchi disclosed that there were four girls' groups, and she herself had been a member of the most popular one until recently.
The director, as depicted in Under Ninja, was associated with Tezuka Productions. Furthermore, she made a notable remark about the school, revealing its previous existence as a military base. The intriguing aspect of the campus was the presence of an enigmatic tunnel situated within the depths of the surrounding woods. Astonishingly, any students who ventured into this ominous passageway were never to be seen again. Notably, there was an element of fear associated with the director, adding another layer to the mysteries surrounding the institution.
Next, they tuned in to an unconventional TV program titled Me and Old Dudes, created by the Ninja Broadcast Company. The show showcased delinquents and their accomplices engaging in immature antics, only to face a public execution carried out by ninjas donning complete invisibility suits.
Subsequently, while en route to school, Kuro, Noguchi, and Eita unexpectedly came across the enigmatic director, who discreetly conveyed the message "three hundred and twenty-one yen" to Kuro before mysteriously disappearing. It was later unveiled that the director possessed the extraordinary ability of clairaudience.
