Uncovering the Tragic Aftermath: Shocking Discoveries from Israeli Kibbutz Be'eri Revealed Following Devastating Hamas Attack

Over 100 bodies discovered in Israeli kibbutz Be'eri following a devastating and unexpected assault by Palestinian Hamas militants

Over 100 corpses have been discovered in Beeri, an Israeli kibbutz, as chilling revelations continue to surface regarding the nightmarish events that unfolded during the unexpected and fatal assault carried out by Palestinian Hamas insurgents. Situated near Gaza, Beeri is a thriving agricultural community housing 1,000 inhabitants, and was amongst the initial locations singled out by the militants who breached the border in the early hours of Saturday, bearing the brunt of the devastating attack.

Israeli authorities and verified CNN videos confirm that civilians were killed and held captive. Videos reveal that heavily armed militants, arriving on motorbikes around 7 a.m., breached the well-secured, technologically advanced border wall between Gaza and Israel just half an hour earlier in Beeri.

Aftermath of the incident was marked by extreme violence. CCTV footage captures militants extracting three corpses from a car before absconding with the vehicle and heading towards the north. The video, initially shared on Telegram, has been geolocated by CNN to an intersection in the northeastern area of the kibbutz, Beeri.

Moreover, an additional video depicts armed militants seizing five Israeli civilians, while another verified video showcases four lifeless bodies scattered nearby.

Residents, fear-stricken, recounted to Channel 12 television station in Israel that attackers systematically attempted to invade their residences.

According to a search and rescue spokesperson who spoke to CNN, out of the 107 corpses retrieved in the aftermath, the majority belonged to kibbutz inhabitants, while a few were Israeli security personnel.

The kibbutzim, which originated from a primarily agricultural society, were widely embraced in the early years of the country. They were established based on the principles of collective living and farming. Currently, around 125,000 individuals reside in these communal settlements, as reported by the Jewish Agency for Israel. Israel is home to an estimated 250 kibbutzim in total.

On Monday, the IDF officially confirmed that Beeri had suffered severe damage.

IDF spokesperson Lt. Col. Richard Hecht stated that they initially anticipated requiring additional rooms to accommodate the evacuees, but it turns out that all the rooms were not necessary.

The Beeri attack occurred simultaneously with Hamas militants targeting a nearby music festival called Nova. The militants brutally attacked festival-goers, shooting them at close range and stealing their belongings. Subsequently, over 260 bodies were discovered at the festival grounds, raising concerns that numerous participants had been taken hostage and transported to Gaza. This ignited a frantic search conducted by both relatives and foreign governments.

Additional towns and settlements near the Gaza border were also attacked during the initial wave of Hamas aggression. These include Ofakim, Sderot, Yad Mordechai, Kfar Aza, Yated, and Kissufim. According to Israeli authorities, it is believed that up to 1,000 Hamas militants crossed the border from Gaza. As Israel launched its offensive and carried out airstrikes in the heavily populated area, the number of casualties continued to increase throughout the weekend.

According to officials, the death toll in Israel stands at a minimum of 900, with thousands injured. The Health Ministry of Gaza reported on Monday that the number of deaths there has reached 687, including 140 children. This figure is anticipated to increase as Israel restricts the supply of electricity, food, water, and fuel to the Palestinian territory. The recent unprecedented attack by Hamas has also prompted concerns about the effectiveness of the Israeli military and intelligence agencies, an issue that the IDF has been evading by asserting that the present focus is on the ongoing conflict. "We will discuss the intelligence aspect afterward," stated Hecht on Saturday.
