The Festival of the Lost has been a regular occurrence in Destiny 2 since its second year. Over time, the event has undergone significant changes, yet it remains a consistent experience. From amusing masks that players can equip to the eerie music and decorations that create a fittingly festive atmosphere in the Tower, certain elements remain constant throughout the event.
An expected aspect of the festival is the introduction of a new weapon each year. This tradition started with Horror Story in 2018 and continues with the latest edition of the Festival of the Lost in Destiny 2. Players now have the opportunity to obtain a brand-new weapon called Acosmic, adding to the festive spirit of the event.
How to Get Acosmic
Acosmic is a powerful Grenade Launcher that deals void damage. To obtain Acosmic, players must complete Haunted Sectors during the Festival of the Lost event. Upon defeating the boss, players will receive Manifested Pages (if they had Spectral Pages to convert), candy, random Legendary armor, and occasionally a Festival of the Lost weapon.
It is possible to receive multiple weapons in one completion, such as two Acosmics or an Acosmic and a Jurassic Green. Alternatively, players can obtain an Acosmic by completing the intro quest for this year's Festival of the Lost, which also grants the Clovis Bray mask needed for the Lost Memento.
What is the God Roll for Acosmic?
Destiny 2 players have multiple ways to acquire Acosmic, including as a quest reward, through random drops, and by focusing an Eerie Engram. To successfully focus the engram, players should gather a sufficient amount of candy beforehand. It is advisable to farm for candy before attempting to focus Eerie Engrams in order to obtain better rolls for Festival of the Lost weapons. When it comes to chasing a randomly dropped gun in Destiny 2, players should prioritize the perks that come with it. In 2023, Festival of the Lost weapons offer two Origin Traits to choose from, unlike the usual one. Among these options, Nadir Focus stands out as the superior choice because it enhances the velocity of Acosmic.
The preferred perks for a god roll differ based on whether players plan to use the weapon in PvE or PvP. In PvP, desirable perks would include Impulse Amplifier and Wellspring. Conversely, for PvE, Acosmic shines with Clown Cartridge and Explosive Light.
Destiny 2 can be currently accessed on platforms such as Epic Games Store, PS4, PS5, Steam, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
