Taka is not involved in designing the actual clothing of the character. Instead, the inspiration for the outfit comes from the red and blue uniform showcased by the Guardians of the Galaxy members in the third installment. Rocket's headpiece is particularly impressive because Marvel Studios did not use any practical gear for the character.
