Additionally, Capcom revealed A.K.I as the second DLC character for Street Fighter 6, who will be introduced in Autumn 2023, alongside the TMNT collaboration.

Capcom surprises fans with a unique partnership between Street Fighter 6 and the beloved Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles franchise. The latest installment of the fighting game series received great acclaim after its release in June, coinciding perfectly with the renowned EVO fighting game tournament. Among the exciting roster of games featured in the tournament were Guilty Gear Strive, Mortal Kombat 11, and Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3. Overjoyed attendees eagerly anticipated announcements from various fighting game developers, who took the opportunity to reveal new games, DLC, and content for upcoming releases. Following the Street Fighter 6 finals, Capcom also had some noteworthy announcements of their own.

Building upon the immense success of Street Fighter 6, Capcom has been actively collaborating with a range of other games. They have already teamed up with Exoprimal, an upcoming title from within Capcom's own portfolio, as well as PUBG: Battlegrounds, where players were able to experience the thrill of iconic Street Fighter characters within the battle royale setting. While these partnerships integrated Street Fighter characters into those games, the upcoming collaboration with Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles will allow fans to immerse themselves in the world of these beloved heroes, taking on the roles of the iconic ninja turtles in a truly captivating manner.

The collaboration for Street Fighter 6's Custom Character involves costume and accessory parts inspired by the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, rather than a crossover fighter. A teaser trailer showcased options to dress up as Leonardo, Donatello, Raphael, or Michelangelo, including full-body costumes and accessories like their masks. Along with these options, the collaboration also offers emotes, stamps, and more. Starting from August 8th, 2023, players can enjoy this collaboration. Notably, there has been another TMNT and Street Fighter crossover this year in the form of a five-issue comic book miniseries by IDW Publishing. This miniseries featured iconic Street Fighter characters like Chun-Li, Ken, and Ryu alongside the turtles, even showcasing a fight between Guile and Raphael in Atlantic City. Despite being smaller in scale, fans were thrilled to witness the crossover between the two IPs once again.

Alongside other announcements at EVO, Capcom provided a glimpse of the second DLC character for Street Fighter 6, A.K.I. Being the sole new fighter among the four included in this season pass, A.K.I. drew attention with her sadistic nature showcased in a teaser trailer featuring a cutscene from the World Tour mode.
