Former UFC star Mark Coleman is currently fighting for his life after bravely rescuing his parents from a house fire in Ohio. According to his daughter Morgan, Mark went back and forth into the burning house to save both of his parents before trying to save their dog, Hammer.

CNN has contacted the Toledo Police, Fire Department, and Coleman's manager for additional information regarding the house fire and the condition of the former UFC fighter.

Morgan mentioned that the ex-MMA star was airlifted to the hospital, where he is currently fighting for his life following his heroic actions. Despite Coleman's best efforts, Hammer unfortunately passed away.

On her Instagram stories, Coleman's other daughter, Kenzie, mentioned that Hammer saved her father's life by barking to wake him up.

MMA writer Jonathan Snowden shared a photo on X (previously known as Twitter) of Mark Coleman in a hospital, connected to a ventilator. Snowden mentioned that he was working on a book with Coleman.

Snowden expressed his belief that if anyone could overcome death, it would be Mark.

Coleman’s friend and former UFC fighter Wes Sims shared on Facebook that Coleman is currently in a hospital in Toledo, Ohio, where he is intubated and sedated.

Connie, Coleman’s mother, took to Facebook to express gratitude for their survival and asked for prayers for Mark.
