Ubisoft's pirate game, Skull And Bones, has faced yet another delay and is now set to be released during the company's Q4 2023-24, specifically in the period of January to March 2024. Alongside this news, Ubisoft has also announced that one of their upcoming "large" games has been rescheduled for the FY2024-2025, with a potential launch as early as April 2024. The company has refrained from disclosing any details about this mysterious game.

Ubisoft CEO Yves Guillemot expressed enthusiasm for bringing our upcoming games to players and achieving our strategic goals of expanding our audience and growing our recurring business through strong brands and live services. As for Skull And Bones, its release window has been adjusted from FY2024 to specifically January-March 2024.

Ubisoft Singapore, in collaboration with Ubisoft's global network of studios, has been working on the development of the game for several years. Throughout its development, the game has undergone significant changes.

During the earnings update, Ubisoft announced that Assassin's Creed Mirage has had a strong beginning, although no specific sales figures were disclosed. However, Ubisoft revealed that the number of players in the first week was consistent with the successful launches of Origins and Odyssey.

The debut week of The Crew Motorfest on September 14 shattered records for unit sell-through, overall spending, and season pass adoption rate. Likewise, Rainbow Six Siege delivered an outstanding performance, with net bookings surging nearly 50% compared to the previous year.

Ubisoft confidently stated that its cost reduction plan is progressing as planned, with the implementation of staff reductions totaling around 1,000 individuals. Presently, Ubisoft boasts a global workforce of 19,410 employees, a decrease from the end of September 2022 when it stood at 20,729.
