Tyler Cameron is focusing on the future, not dwelling on the past, when it comes to his love life. In a recent episode of Lala Kent's "Give Them Lala" podcast on October 11th, Cameron, who is 30 years old, addressed whether he regarded any of his former partners as "the one that got away."
"I'm happy that they all left," he joked. "If I reflect on it now, I'm grateful that it didn't work out because I wouldn't have reached this point where I am today. I believe that each rejection or failure has led me to a better place."
Cameron stated that he had no regrets ending any of his relationships. "I have attempted to revisit those relationships and fulfill certain expectations. However, those expectations no longer align," he further explained. "The reasoning no longer makes sense."
The personal life of the reality star has been a widely discussed subject ever since his appearance on Hannah Brown's season of The Bachelorette in 2019. Following his runner-up finish, Cameron had a short-lived relationship with Gigi Hadid before being romantically linked to Stassie Karanikolaou, Juliette Porter, and Jilissa Ann Zoltko.
Tyler Cameron, known for his appearances on shows like "The Bachelorette," was in a relationship with model Camila Kendra, but unfortunately, they ended things in August 2021 after being together for less than a year. After that, he briefly dated Paige Lorenze but they also confirmed their breakup in August 2022.
The Special Forces star, Cameron, has been at the center of romance rumors involving Kristin Cavallari on multiple occasions. In April 2022, Cameron made an appearance in a promotional video for Cavallari's brand, Uncommon James, in Palm Springs. However, both parties denied any speculation about a romantic relationship.
Earlier this year, they grabbed headlines when footage emerged of them celebrating New Year's Eve together. Cameron and Cavallari, along with Jason Tartick, Kaitlyn Bristowe, Justin Anderson, and Austin Rhodes, were spotted getting cozy on the dance floor.
Cameron recently discussed how his perspective on finding love has evolved since becoming famous.
In a recent episode of Nick Viall's "Viall Files" podcast, Cameron candidly shared, "To be honest, in the past, I approached dating with the mindset of a small-town kid who had made it to big cities like L.A. and New York. I thought, 'Why settle for someone from back home when I can try my luck with models and actresses?' But after experiencing that, I realized it wasn't fulfilling."
In retrospect, Cameron acknowledged that his previous approach to dating yielded disappointing results.
He expressed, "I was in a relationship with a girl who prioritized materialistic things such as money and fame, which were not important to me. My main focus was on building a family and living a specific lifestyle. She desired luxuries like a private jet and boats."
Cameron presently seeks a more uncomplicated bond. "I desire to have a piece of land, reside by the water, and simply spend time with my children," he stated. "I aspire to be a high school football coach and that's all. I understand that not many people can embrace this kind of life."
