A family friend of Spencer and Kallie Wright shared a heartfelt tribute to their 3-year-old son Levi after the parents provided an update on his condition.

“I cannot even begin to explain how tough the last two weeks have been. From the moment I received that phone call about his accident, to last night when I got the message that he had to leave,” Mindy Sue Clark posted on Facebook on Monday, June 3.

“I don’t want to dwell on the sadness, even though it feels like someone has torn my heart out and crushed it right in front of me. Instead, I want to focus on the numerous miracles we were able to witness in those 12 days.”

Clark, also known as Levi's "Aunt Mindy," expressed her gratitude for the overwhelming support the Wright family received when Levi suffered a severe brain injury in May. Strangers from all over came together to send well wishes to Levi after he drove his toy tractor into a Utah river.

She shared, "It was absolutely incredible to see hundreds of thousands, if not millions, of people rallying around our little buddy. The outpouring of prayers and love from everyone has been truly remarkable. We are in awe of the kindness and support we have received during this difficult time."

Clark added, "This level of support is something we have never witnessed before. It's hard to fully comprehend the extent of it all. We are forever grateful for the love and care shown to Levi and our family."

Clark then expressed his admiration for the toddler Levi. "The most perfect three year old there ever was," he wrote. "So perfect we didn't get to keep him." Levi, who was last reported to be in critical condition as of Sunday, June 2, truly made an impact in his short life.

"This baby boy moved mountains in the last 12 days," Clark continued. "He brought so many people together and showed us light in a dark world. He's everything his mom and dad could've hoped for." Levi's strength and spirit touched many hearts during his time here.

Clark expressed her gratitude for being a part of Levi’s life and cherished the quality time spent with him before his accident. She shared that she will always treasure the blessing of that experience.

During her last visit to Utah, Clark reflected on a special moment when she stayed awake a little longer to make s'mores with the kids, despite feeling tired. She mentioned how the children had eagerly anticipated this activity all day. Clark ended her message by expressing her love for Levi and how much she will miss him.

Levi was first admitted to the hospital in late May after driving a toy tractor into a river, as reported by the Beaver County Sheriff’s Office on May 21. Luckily, he was quickly found and given life-saving treatment before being taken to a nearby hospital.

The Wright family expressed uncertainty about Levi's full recovery, as there was not much improvement in his condition despite ongoing medical care, as mentioned in a social media update by Clark on May 22.

On Sunday, Kallie shared a heartbreaking update about Levi's condition. She mentioned that she and her husband were preparing to bid farewell to their son.

In a video posted on Facebook on Sunday, Kallie expressed her gratitude for the support they had received. She mentioned the sleepless nights, extensive research, and conversations with top neurologists they had gone through. Despite their hopes, Levi's recent actions made it clear that he was giving them time to come to terms with letting him go.

Kallie believed that Levi's actions were his way of showing thoughtfulness and consideration towards them. She described how Levi's gestures had given them a chance to find peace with the difficult decision ahead.
