Rodeo star Spencer Wright's 3-year-old son, Levi, passed away recently due to a serious brain injury.
Levi's life support was removed on Sunday, June 2, and he passed away. According to a family friend, Mindy Sue Clark, Levi was a wonderful little boy. Clark mentioned on Monday, June 3, that it will be hard for the family to move forward without Levi.
Hours before Levi passed away, his mother, Kallie Wright, shared a heartbreaking update on her son's condition with her husband Spencer.
In a Facebook post on Sunday, Kallie expressed her gratitude for the support they received during this difficult time. Despite the sleepless nights, extensive research, and consultations with top neurologists, Levi's condition continued to deteriorate. She shared that Levi's actions may have been his way of giving them time to come to terms with his passing.
Kallie described Levi as thoughtful and considerate, believing that his actions were meant to help them find peace with his inevitable departure. Through their prayers and hope for a miracle, they found solace in the love and support surrounding them during this challenging period.
Kallie expressed that Levi had a profound impact on people nationwide, despite the tragic incident of driving his toy tractor into a Utah river. She shared her plans to cherish precious moments with him before he peacefully passes away. Kallie found solace in the belief that Levi will be restored to his joyful self in the afterlife, surrounded by caring angels.
In her heartfelt message, Kallie acknowledged the pain of missing Levi every moment on earth but remained steadfast in her decision for his well-being. She lovingly addressed Levi as "baby beans" and eagerly anticipated the day when they could be together again, tending to the land.
Levi was taken to the hospital after the accident involving a toy tractor. The Beaver County Sheriff’s Office stated on May 21 that Levi had lost sight of his family after driving the toy tractor into a river. Luckily, he was quickly found and given life-saving treatment before being taken to a nearby hospital.
Despite receiving medical care, Levi's condition did not show much improvement. The Wright family was uncertain about his full recovery, as mentioned in a social media update by Clark on May 22.
On Monday, Clark took to Facebook to honor Levi. She expressed the difficult time she has been going through in the past two weeks. From the moment she received the call about his accident to the heartbreaking news of his passing, the pain has been immense. Despite feeling like her heart has been torn out, Clark chooses to focus on the positive moments and miracles witnessed during those 12 days.
Referring to herself as Levi’s “Aunt Mindy,” Clark shared the overwhelming support and love they received from strangers during this challenging time. The outpouring of well wishes and prayers for Levi from people coming together has been truly remarkable.
"We were overwhelmed by the outpouring of support for our little buddy, Levi, as hundreds of thousands, if not millions, of people came together in prayer and love for him and his family," she shared. "It was a truly incredible and unprecedented display of kindness and compassion that we are still trying to fully comprehend."
Clark fondly described Levi as the "most perfect three-year-old to have ever existed, so perfect that we couldn't keep him. In just 12 days, this baby boy managed to move mountains and bring countless people together. In a world filled with darkness, Levi was a beacon of light for us all. He truly embodied everything his parents could have hoped for."
