Travis Kelce's Rave About Stylish Pants That Channel Taylor Swift's 'Midnight Mayhem' Curtains

Travis Kelce caught the attention of Swifties with his latest fashion statement. After his successful game against the Vikings in Minnesota on October 8th, the 34-year-old Kansas City Chief tight end posted photos on Instagram showcasing his pre-game outfit. "Stay cool like Sauvignon Blanc," Kelce wrote as the caption. The slideshow featured him confidently wearing bronze pants, a white button-up shirt, a stylish Louis Vuitton duffle bag, and a pair of Union x Air Jordan 1 sneakers.

The comments section of the post quickly filled up with responses, including one from sports commentator Charissa Thompson. She asked, "What is that ... velvet?!?!" Kelce replied by saying, "I have no idea, but they are as comfortable as they look!!"

Thompson was not the only social media user who found the trousers interesting. Fans of Taylor Swift, who is rumored to be in a relationship with the NFL star, believe that Kelce's pants were a subtle reference to the brown curtains seen in Swift's "Midnights Mayhem With Me" TikTok series. This series featured her announcing songs from her album, which was released in October 2022.

Fans couldn't help but express their amusement and curiosity about Travis Kelce's choice of attire. One fan jokingly commented, "Why is he wearing mother's curtains?" Another fan humorously remarked, "It's the Midnights pants for me." Meanwhile, a third social media user enthusiastically exclaimed, "I SEE YOU WITH THOSE 'MEET ME AT MIDNIGHT' PANTS!" Adding to the playful banter, a fourth individual quipped, "Not him wearing Taylor Swift's curtains from midnights mayhem."

Just last month, when Kelce and Swift, 33, were initially linked romantically, the football player sported a denim outfit by KidSuper Studios. The two-piece set showcased an abstract design of nude female figures. Fans quickly noticed the similarities between Kelce's attire and the color scheme of Swift's upcoming album, 1989 (Taylor's Version). As a result, the brand decided to rename the ensemble from "Bedroom Painting Denim Jacket" to "1989 Bedroom Painting Denim Jacket."

In episode 13 of Midnight Mayhem, Kelce made a stylish entrance wearing his tunnel ensemble before taking to the field. Swift, who was in a VIP suite with Kelce's mom, cheered him on throughout the sporting event. Showing her dedication to the team, Swift donned the Chief's red and white colors, wearing a Chief's windbreaker, a cropped tank top, and black jeans. To add some extra flair, she completed her look with red New Balance sneakers, bedazzled earrings, red lips and nails, and winged eyeliner. Following the game, the two were spotted leaving the locker room together.

Swift once again supported Kelce during the Chiefs' game against the New York Jets on October 1. Accompanying her were friends Sabrina Carpenter, Ryan Reynolds, and Blake Lively. Notably, Hugh Jackman, Sophie Turner, director Shawn Levy, and Swift's brother Austin were also in attendance at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey.
