Travis Kelce, the Kansas City Chiefs tight end, revealed on his "New Heights" podcast with his brother Jason Kelce that he won't be spending Thanksgiving dinner with Taylor Swift this year. She's on tour in South America, so he'll be enjoying football and a fast food meal alone.
"I'll be enjoying KFC since I'll be alone," he chuckled. When Jason, a football player for the Philadelphia Eagles, invited his brother to join his family for Thanksgiving dinner, Travis sarcastically replied, "That's exactly how I wanted to spend my week."
It is safe to assume that Kelce’s main desire this week was to spend time with Swift, who was supposedly scheduled to be at the Chiefs/Eagles game in Kansas City on Monday with her parents during a break in her South American "Eras Tour" run.

Despite both Swift and Kelce having a break from their busy schedules for the holiday, it appeared that they might have the chance to spend Thanksgiving together. Unfortunately, Swift was unable to attend Kelce's Monday game due to extreme temperatures in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. This also resulted in her rescheduling her concert from Saturday to Monday, with more performances scheduled in São Paulo.
Kelce expressed his gratitude for Swift on Wednesday's podcast episode while talking about his new Christmas song "Fairytale of New York," a cover of The Pogues' 1987 song. The duet with his brother Jason was released last week and has already hit No. 1 on iTunes. The brothers attributed the song's success to Swift's fans, known as Swifties, for helping to bring the single to the top of the music streamers chart.
"Thanks Taylor, appreciate you," Kelce said on the podcast. "And thank you to the Swifties."
