The siblings have a brief stare off before Russell breaks the tension. “You sure?” he asks. “[I was] just messing with you.”

Since Tracker premiered on CBS in February, fans have been gradually discovering Colter's issues with Russell. Throughout the first season, Colter has hinted that he had a falling out with Russell because he believed his older brother was responsible for their father's death.

According to the synopsis for the upcoming episode on Sunday, Colter is now "forced to team up" with Russell. Russell requires Colter's assistance in locating a former army buddy who disappeared after exhibiting paranoid behavior for several weeks. As they delve into the investigation, Colter and Russell will uncover information about "Special Forces missions, shady off-the-books programs, and conspiracy theories." Moreover, they will need to confront past events that have contributed to their ongoing estrangement.

Ackles’ highly anticipated Tracker debut comes less than a month after Hartley, 47, announced the news.
