After taking a refreshing shower in his Airstream trailer, Colter is surprised to find Reenie (played by Fiona Rene) waiting for him.

Colter asks Reenie, "Oh! What the hell?" Reenie responds, "I knocked, you didn’t answer."

Colter then tells Reenie that she should give him more warning next time. He adds, "You gotta quit doing this. The sneaking around and stopping by. You are breaking and entering!"

Reenie, however, teases that she was there for Colter, adding, “I came here for the view. I heard it was OK.”

To keep poking fun at Colter, Reenie pretends to take photos of him. “Don’t take photos!” Colter says. “I’m not mad at you. Just give me a second to get dressed.”

The sneak peek of Tracker is a pleasant surprise for fans and viewers alike, especially since we are used to seeing Colter in action in the field. Based on Jeffery Deaver‘s novel The Never Game, the show follows Colter as he utilizes his survival skills to help solve various cases. Alongside Colter, the procedural also features Robin Weigert, Abby McEnany, Eric Graise, and Rene, all of whom are members of Colter’s team.

In the latest mystery, Colter embarks on a journey into the wilderness of Idaho to assist in locating the missing adult children of an aerial outfitting company's owner. The stakes are high for Colter as the missing individuals are friends of Reenie’s father, who were last seen in a plane that departed during inclement weather with a mysterious client on board.

Despite consistently trying to assist his professional colleagues, Colter has mostly remained isolated. Hartley, a 47-year-old executive producer on the CBS series, previously discussed Colter's choice to maintain a safe distance from others.

In an interview with Entertainment Weekly in February, Hartley expressed, "[While Colter is] helping people and it's great, [he's also] avoiding confronting things he doesn't want to deal with." Hartley found it intriguing to observe someone who is highly capable in certain aspects yet feels unfulfilled and shattered in others.

That same month, Hartley discussed the potential for Colter’s broad appeal, stating that Colter Shaw is not focused on any specific agenda. He is a businessman who earns a living by taking on jobs for money. Colter is not motivated by politics, but rather by a strong sense of doing what is right. This drive stems from his childhood, which is explored further in the series.

Tracker can be watched on CBS on Sundays at 9 p.m. ET. If you miss an episode, you can catch up by streaming new episodes the following day on Paramount+.
