Tori Spelling had to evacuate her rental home following the arrest of a man nearby.
Photos obtained by Page Six showed Spelling, 50, looking worried as she stood outside her Los Angeles rental property on Wednesday, October 18. The Beverly Hills, 90210 actress joined other onlookers as the suspect, who was dressed in blue shorts and a white T-shirt, was apprehended by SWAT officials and taken away in handcuffs.
Amidst the chaos, Spelling kept a low profile, dressed in a casual yellow graphic tee and distressed cargo pants. She completed her look with a black beanie, oversized sunglasses, and Nike sneakers.
This incident follows Spelling's ongoing marital issues with her husband, Dean McDermott. The 56-year-old former host of "Chopped: Canada" was seen holding hands with an unidentified woman as they entered the Department of Social Services in West Valley on Tuesday, October 10. McDermott's public outing occurred four months after he shared and later deleted an Instagram post announcing the end of his relationship with Spelling.
With deep sadness and a heavy heart, after being together for 18 years and raising 5 incredible children, @torispelling and I have made the difficult decision to embark on separate paths and begin a new chapter in our lives. We will continue to co-parent with love and support, guiding our children through this challenging time. We kindly ask for your respect and privacy as we navigate through this journey, surrounded by love and resilience. Thank you for your unwavering support and compassion.
Although Spelling refrained from commenting on the social media statement, a source informed We that the couple, who have children Liam, 16, Stella, 15, Hattie, 12, Finn, 11, and Beau, 6, were not headed for divorce despite McDermott's announcement. McDermott is also the father of son Jack, 24, whom he shares with his ex-wife Mary Jo Eustace.
According to a source, despite facing challenges like any other couple, they have actively sought help through couple's counseling to work on their marriage. Speculation arises from the belief that Dean posted something out of anger after a major argument with Tori. However, he later deleted the post, indicating regret.
Additionally, Spelling has been dealing with health issues. In August, the actress was hospitalized due to an undisclosed medical problem. While the exact nature of her illness remains unknown, another source suggests it may have been related to the "mold issue" at the rental home where she was staying. Spelling claimed that this issue was affecting her family's health, leading them to temporarily move to an RV park in Venture County, California, starting in May.
"Our Mold problem has escalated to a severe level, posing a serious threat to our well-being for the past 3 years," Spelling conveyed via Instagram, expressing her urgency to find a new home for her family.
Despite facing challenges in her marriage, battling physical illness, and enduring difficult living conditions, Spelling has consistently prioritized her children. Just recently, on Sunday, October 15th, she treated her little ones to the thrilling Halloween Horror Nights at Universal Studios. Earlier this month, she devoted her time to assisting her son Liam and daughter Stella in preparing for their memorable Homecoming weekend.
She joked in her Instagram post before the dance, "In my eyes, they will always be their 2- and 3-year-old selves, with me by their side holding their hands. Now, they have grown taller than me. It's unbelievable!" She proudly shared photos of her children and added, "These two individuals exemplify kindness, empathy, and confidence. They are wise, aware, and truly remarkable individuals. I am proud to be their mother."
