Tori Spelling recently got her stomach pierced on Mother's Day, and she gives credit to all five of her kids for the idea.

The 51-year-old actress, who has children Liam, 17, Stella, 15, Hattie, 12, Finn, 11, and Beau, 7, with her estranged husband Dean McDermott, shared a video on Instagram from her "misSPELLING" podcast episode on Saturday, May 18. In the clip, she proudly shows off her new piercings.

She captioned the video on Sunday, saying, "My kids surprised me with a very unique Mother's Day celebration that truly reflected who I am!"

In the clip, Spelling shared with her friend Jessica Amer, "Okay, I'm going to show you. Brace yourself. There's some bruising around [the piercing] because it was pretty intense. I just got it done a few days ago, so it's still healing."

Spelling showed off two belly piercings, saying she dislikes odd numbers and prefers everything in pairs.

In the podcast, Spelling proudly talked about her stomach after having five babies. She mentioned how her stomach has stretched and gone back five times, and how she used to love showing off her belly in the past. Now, she continues to do so despite some people telling her to dress more maturely.

Spelling recently shared photos on her Instagram Story from Mother’s Day. The pictures featured moments from the special day spent with her children. Along with these snapshots, she also shared images of the family outside the tattoo parlor where she got new piercings and of their lunch date.

On her show “misSPELLING,” she mentioned, “My kids really understand me. In the past, I always felt the pressure on Mother’s Day to go out for brunch or do something special. It was always a rush, and I felt like we had to stick to a strict schedule.”

This year is Spelling's first Mother's Day since she and McDermott, 57, decided to separate.

Last week, we learned that McDermott is now in a new relationship with Lily Calo. He has also requested joint custody and spousal support in response to Spelling's divorce filing back in March. In her filing, Spelling asked for full custody of their children.

The dates of separation on official documents we found were different. According to Spelling, they split on June 17, 2023, but McDermott stated it was July 7, 2020.

Spelling and McDermott have experienced many ups and downs in the public eye since their marriage in 2006. They have been the subject of breakup rumors several times.

After McDermott announced his relationship with Calo on Instagram, a social media user expressed surprise that Spelling had liked the photo. They commented, "The fact that Tori liked this is mind-boggling!"

McDermott surprised fans by defending his ex. He responded, "It’s because she is a highly evolved and compassionate loving person, which is a lot more than I can say for the trolls commenting on this post. Tori has a boyfriend now. People move on from divorce and sometimes they are better off apart. That’s just life. I’ll pray for happiness for all the haters."
