Tori Spelling is embracing the next phase of her life.
She made her first public appearance since filing for divorce from Dean McDermott. Spelling, who is 50 years old, attended the 2024 iHeartRadio Music Awards on Monday, April 1, to enjoy a night of music.
Spotted outside the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles, Beverly Hills, 90210 alum Tori Spelling rocked a black tube top paired with brown plaid pants, flaunting her abs. She accessorized with multiple necklaces and black open-toe heels.
While smiling for the cameras, Spelling discussed her future outlook following the launch of her new iHeartRadio podcast, "MisSPELLING."
"I feel like everything comes full circle," she shared with Extra on the red carpet. "When life is meant to change, it changes for you, sometimes in a significant way. We all need that at times, and I believe that everything happens at the right time and place."
Acknowledging the numerous articles discussing her and McDermott's marriage in recent times, Spelling expressed her readiness to speak her truth without any additional embellishments.
"I have had my story told by others for years, sharing both my own experiences and those of my family. But now, for the first time, I am taking control and sharing my story myself," she explained. "I will be diving into everything from my childhood to my current life, and even looking ahead to the future."
Spelling expressed her enthusiasm for taking ownership of her narrative.
In her debut episode, Spelling revealed more details about her divorce process. She even recorded a phone conversation with McDermott, 57, where she informed him that she was filing for divorce.
In the episode, Spelling left a message for McDermott, saying, "It's T. I know you're busy. Can you please call me? It's urgent. Everything is okay. The kids are doing well, but please call me. Goodbye."
The couple has five kids together: Liam (17), Stella (15), Hattie (12), Finn (11), and Beau (7). McDermott also has a son named Jack (25) with his ex-wife Mary Jo Eustace.
Spelling shared with listeners that she recently filed for divorce after being married for 18 years.
About 10 minutes into the podcast episode, McDermott called Spelling back and listeners were able to hear her side of their conversation.
She expressed her regret for interrupting McDermott while he was on his way to work. Spelling informed him about the divorce filing, stating that it was just a formality. She described it as a simple one-page document that needed to be checked off and signed.
After the podcast came out, McDermott finally spoke about the divorce. He mentioned in a video from the Daily Mail that he and Tori are doing well.
Recently, both Spelling and McDermott have begun new relationships. A source revealed to We that they have met each other's new partners.
“There’s no jealousy,” the insider explained. “They just want each other to be happy and healthy. They’re both on to their next chapters in their lives and happy for one another.”
