Tori Spelling is sharing details about her money situation following her divorce from Dean McDermott.

In a recent episode of her podcast "Misspelling," Tori, who admits to being a "collector," broadcasted live from her four storage units where she keeps a lot of her belongings. Unfortunately, she is unable to continue paying for the units, so she decided it was time to declutter.

"I have stored all my children's memories and everything from my 18-year marriage. Unfortunately, about a year ago, we had to leave our house due to mold issues, and all our belongings were placed into storage," shared Spelling, who is 50 years old. "I didn't have the financial means to keep up with the payments for the storage units."

She went on to explain that when a person is unable to pay for their storage unit, the company will lock up the items for a period of time before eventually putting them up for auction.

"A very kind person stopped it from being auctioned off. Right now, I have friends who are helping me access some of the storage units," Spelling shared. She mentioned that iHeartRadio producer Amy Sugarman paid to open "two of the units," but unfortunately, they weren't the right ones.

"We didn't know what was in any of them. We can only open two for now because Amy helped with those," she explained. "Oh no, guys. I don't think any of this is actually mine. It's all Dean's belongings."

Spelling expressed her sadness, saying, "I am so sad right now. I just wanted to get my memorabilia and my kids' stuff, and this is nothing that we need. $971 for stuff we don't even want. Oh, my God. Talk about getting screwed. Like, what the heck?"

She mentioned that their "whole lives are in these units" and gave credit to McDermott, 57, who suggested they should have cleaned them out sooner. "He was right."

Spelling shared that in the past, she struggled to let go of things because it felt like a part of herself was being erased. However, with her recent life changes and financial constraints, she is now ready to declutter and start fresh.

The couple's divorce was initiated by Spelling last month, with McDermott being informed during a separate podcast episode. McDermott had previously hinted at their split in a now-deleted Instagram post from June 2023. They have five children together: Liam, Stella, Hattie, Finn, and Beau.

As she sorted through the items in the storage unit, Spelling found herself reminiscing about a time when she purchased things like an expensive mirror that symbolized the life she was living. She candidly shared, "I'm really struggling right now. I have five kids to support in L.A. ... I'm trying my best."

Throughout the years, Spelling has been open about her financial challenges, even once politely shutting down Good Day New York host Rosanna Scotto who inquired about her ability to pay bills amidst rumors of credit card debt.

“Am I able to pay my bills?” Spelling said during the tense interaction in August 2019. “Yeah, thank you. I am.”
