Tom Hiddleston Takes Pride in Zawe Ashton's Villainous Role in 'The Marvels'

During an appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon on November 10th, Hiddleston, 42, discussed the season 2 finale of Loki, which was released on Disney+ the previous night. Fallon, 49, inquired about fan theories.
Fallon inquired about a potential hidden link between Loki season 2 and the movie The Marvels.
Hiddleston responded, acknowledging the existence of connections, some of which are concealed while others are more overt. He admitted his lack of knowledge regarding what the fans perceive as the clandestine connection.
Fallon said that means there is no link, but Hiddleston was quick to point out his personal connection to Ashton, 39, with whom he welcomed a child in 2022.

“My other half is in The Marvels and I’m very proud of her. So there you go. That’s out this weekend,” he added.
Ashton, who portrays the villainous character Dar-Benn in the Captain Marvel sequel, is determined to obliterate any place where Captain Marvel/Carol Danvers (played by Brie Larson) has found solace, seeking revenge.
Prior to entering the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU), Ashton crossed paths with Hiddleston during their roles in a play called Betrayal, which also featured Charlie Cox from Daredevil. The play was showcased on both the West End stage in 2018 and Broadway in 2019. However, their connection extended beyond the theater.
