TikTokers Carmen and Lupita Andrade, who are conjoined twins, recently responded to users' questions in a video that resurfaced.

In a TikTok video posted in December 2022, Lupita mentioned that they were going to do a FAQ because some users were constantly asking insensitive questions on videos unrelated to their bodies.

The 23-year-old twins, who are connected at the torso, mentioned that they are unable to control each other's "limbs or halves."

They also pointed out that because they share a bloodstream, they would both potentially experience the effects of drugs or alcohol. Carmen further explained that if one of them were to pass away, sepsis would occur.

"Carmen pointed out that one of the twins will inevitably die within hours or days. She questioned why people always ask them about their survival, as if they were doctors.

In terms of eating, the twins feel full at different rates since they have separate stomachs. Additionally, with two brains, they do not both experience fatigue simultaneously."

Carmen and Lupita may have different romantic preferences, but they both experienced the pain of endometriosis. Carmen expressed her frustration with inappropriate questions about sex, emphasizing the shared experience of suffering.

In April 2023, Lupita revealed during an interview with Today that she identifies as asexual and does not desire romantic relationships. On the other hand, Carmen is in a relationship with Daniel McCormack and they both have decided not to have children, aligning with their mutual feelings on the matter.

Carmen shared today that she and Lupita are unable to conceive due to their endometriosis condition and the hormone blocker they are taking to stop their menstrual cycle.
