THQ Nordic has invested approximately $535,000 in aiding Ukrainian war refugees, as per the publisher's official estimate. The company believes that the humanitarian initiatives have been successful in avoiding bureaucratic inefficiencies and ensuring that all the invested funds went to a good cause, as they work directly with the aided individuals.

In addition to providing updates on their ongoing relief efforts, THQ Nordic has publicly denounced the Russian invasion of Ukraine, a stance that was first taken by its parent company, Embracer Group, in March 2022. The company also expressed gratitude towards its employees who are involved in the ongoing humanitarian initiatives.

According to recent reports from Fox News, the Russo-Ukrainian War has already resulted in the deaths of 42,000 civilians, as confirmed by U.S. government officials. The same sources also estimate that the conflict has claimed the lives of approximately 50,000 Russian military personnel and 20,000 Ukrainian forces. Tragically, among those who have lost their lives in the conflict are game developers, including a former STALKER developer who was also a father of two and was killed while fighting in Ukraine towards the end of last year.
