The Witcher 3 Fan-Made LEGO Tribute Grabs Developer's Attention

Enthusiasts are eager for a LEGO and The Witcher 3 fusion, as the artist's creations effortlessly mimic artwork that could be used for promoting a LEGO game.

A skilled 3D artist recently combined LEGO and The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, catching the attention of the game's developers. The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt was highly praised upon its release in 2015 and is regarded as one of the best video games of all time. It continues the story of Geralt of Rivia, a tough yet noble mutant monster hunter in search of his adopted daughter Ciri, who is being pursued by the Wild Hunt.

While the previous two Witcher games were well received, The Witcher 3's immense success propelled the franchise into the mainstream, leading to the creation of Netflix's live-action series based on the game and several upcoming spin-off games from CD Projekt Red, the developer. One of these projects is a complete remake of the original Witcher game, allowing players to relive Geralt's earlier adventures with the enhancements and improvements introduced in Wild Hunt.

Meanwhile, BrickPanda, a digital artist and Twitter user with a focus on LEGO, recently shared a series of images that depict The Witcher 3 in the style of LEGO games created by Traveller's Tales. The adorable minifigures of characters such as Geralt, Ciri, and Dandelion reenact scenes from the game in these impressive 3D renderings. Fans have shown their approval of these renderings, and even the official Witcher Twitter account shared a few of them on their own page.

Although LEGO and video games often collaborate through games or crossover sets, the likelihood of an official collaboration with The Witcher seems very low. LEGO has created sets based on mature themes for older collectors, but most of their gaming crossovers have centered around family-friendly titles like Super Mario and Sonic the Hedgehog. However, this hasn't stopped fans from envisioning LEGO versions of games such as Half-Life 2 and Assassin's Creed, which may not fit the typical LEGO tie-in mold.

A LEGO Witcher 3 game might not be on CD Projekt Red's upcoming titles list based on Andrzej Sapkowski's works. However, BrickPanda's LEGO image collection could easily be mistaken for promotional art for one of Traveller's Tales' block-filled collect-a-thons. The fact that the official Witcher handle has noticed and shared their work adds to the impressiveness. Many fans would eagerly support a LEGO/The Witcher 3 crossover with minifigures of Geralt and Ciri engaging in their renowned activities.
