A Marvel fan has paid tribute to Avengers: Endgame by creating a LEGO-style trailer for the 2019 film. The movie marked the conclusion of the Infinity Saga, bringing an end to one of the most beloved chapters in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Although the Avengers' story seemed to come to a satisfying conclusion, the team is set to return with two new films, The Kang Dynasty and Secret Wars, scheduled for release in 2025 and 2026. In the meantime, u/Doctorcinus has shared their impressive recreation of the first Avengers: Endgame trailer on Reddit.

Could Marvel LEGO Movies Actually Happen?

Avengers: Endgame bid farewell to half of the original members of the superhero team, leaving the new Avengers roster to debut with a tough task ahead - to recreate the magic of the first team. However, the Avengers: Endgame LEGO fan trailer manages to capture the nostalgia and sentiment of the original movie in a heartwarming manner.

LEGO Marvel Universe: Will We See More Superhero Films?

The Avengers: Endgame LEGO fan trailer successfully captured the emotions of the original film while adding a unique style. This leads to the intriguing possibility of a Marvel and LEGO partnership for future movies. Batman has already had great success in his own LEGO movie, proving that a superhero LEGO film is not unheard of.

Following the success of The LEGO Batman Movie in 2017, which grossed a total of $312 million worldwide, a sequel was greenlit but ultimately canceled after a few box office failures for other Warner Bros.-produced LEGO films. As a result, Warner Bros. chose not to renew its deal with The LEGO Group, paving the way for Universal Pictures to secure a five-year deal for LEGO-based films. While fans may have hoped for a LEGO Marvel movie, Universal now has the power to choose which characters will be featured in upcoming LEGO movies until 2025, including the possibility of using characters from their own distribution rights, such as Marvel's Hulk, which has yet to have a solo film produced. Therefore, a LEGO Marvel movie like the fan-made Avengers: Endgame trailer is unlikely to happen anytime soon.
