Despite not surpassing its prequels, the film has achieved a solid commercial success, even considering the challenges posed by the SAG-AFTRA strike, which prevented Denzel Washington from promoting it.
To date, the movie has earned approximately $92 million domestically and an additional $93 million from international markets, resulting in a total global gross of $185 million.
