Homelander Is The Boys' Strongest Supe Because Vought Created Him

Homelander, like all supes, was derived from Compound V, a serum created by Frederick Vought with the intention of developing super soldiers for the Nazi Third Reich during WWII. The earlier versions of Compound V that Frederick Vought produced were significantly purer and more concentrated compared to the modern doses. This explains why Stormfront and Soldier Boy, who were among the earliest subjects of Compound V, have longer lifespans. Since Homelander was created using Soldier Boy's DNA, it is highly likely that there is some manifestation of Compound V in his system from the moment of his conception. In an effort to replace Soldier Boy, Vought exposed Homelander to an extremely potent dose of Compound V, which subsequently resulted in his distinctive set of powers.
