The Boys season 4 is set to unveil a new roster for The Seven, the Vought superhero team. In season 3, the team faced notable losses, including Starlight's departure from Vought, Maeve's staged death, and Homelander's murder of Black Noir. Following the completion of production, Vought International's Twitter account is now suggesting a revamped lineup for season 4.
Who Will Join The Seven In The Boys Season 4?
The revised season 2 image showcases Homelander, A-Train, and The Deep, the surviving members of The Seven. Additionally, Black Noir, believed to be deceased, is featured, indicating that his demise will be concealed by replacing him with a new Super. The post also hints that Homelander is actively seeking additional Supes to enhance his team.
The Seven is currently in search of three fresh members to restore the team to its complete capacity, generating immense interest among viewers about the upcoming additions to the corrupt superheroes roster. It is highly speculated that two of the three available spots will be filled by a duo of recently unveiled characters. Susan Heyward from Orange is the New Black and Valorie Curry from The Lost Symbol have already been introduced as the newest Supes, titled Sister Sage and Firecracker, respectively.
Currently, there is limited information available regarding the characters of Heyward and Curry. These characters are completely original and do not have any direct connections to the original comics. The bigger mystery lies in determining who will occupy the seventh spot on the team. While it appears unlikely that Jensen Ackles' character, Soldier Boy, will be selected, another possibility could be the enigmatic character portrayed by Jeffrey Dean Morgan. Many fan theories suggest that he could potentially be cast as Supe Tek Knight, making him a strong contender.
Alternatively, another option could arise from the forthcoming spinoff series, Gen V, which will showcase a younger generation of Supes training at Godolkin University School of Crimefighting. Considering that this spinoff is set to premiere before The Boys' fourth season, it is conceivable that a promising graduate from the new series could transition to the flagship show. Either way, additional details may be unveiled when The Boys appear at SDCC later this month.
