Wriothesley is a Genshin Impact character who relies on his Normal Attack for dealing damage. Despite equipping a Catalyst, he delivers melee damage through his punches. Similar to other Fontaine characters in Genshin Impact, his gameplay mechanic requires him to gradually lose HP while battling, but he also possesses a means of restoring his health.

Wriothesley Best Artifact In Genshin Impact
Wriothesley continuously loses HP, making him an ideal candidate for the 4pc Marechaussee Hunter set. Alternatively, for players using him in a Freeze team, the 4pc Blizzard Strayer set is also highly recommended. While Blizzard Strayer provides a slight advantage of around 5% under perfect conditions, both sets have their own advantages and disadvantages. Blizzard Strayer offers a 15% increase to all of Wriothesley's Cryo hits, whereas Marechaussee only enhances Normal and Charged Attacks.
To maximize their critical hit rate, individuals should focus on building up Marechaussee’s stack, as it provides a bonus of up to 36%. In contrast, Blizzard does not require stacking (though players still need to freeze the enemies) and offers a higher Crit Rate of up to 40%.
When facing bosses, who are often immune to freezing, Marechaussee may prove to be the more effective option.
Blizzard is only viable in a Freeze team while Marechaussee is more flexible.

Apart from Cashflow Supervision, there are other exceptional choices for the Catalyst slot in Genshin Impact. Scaramouche's iconic weapon, Tulaytullah's Remembrance, proves to be the second most powerful option. Additionally, prestigious 5-star catalysts such as Skyward Atlas, Memory of Dust, and Lost Prayer to the Sacred Winds also provide formidable alternatives.
Lost Prayer can sometimes be less effective than Skyward Atlas and Memory of Dust when paired with an ATK buffer like Bennett. However, Lost Prayer can also be wasted if players exceed 100% Crit Rate.
Among the 4-star weapons available in Genshin Impact, Wriothesley has a variety of options to choose from. These include Ballad of the Boundless Blue, Eye of Perception, Frostbearer, Blackcliff Agate, Flowing Purity, The Widsith, and Solar Pearl. The easiest to use are Ballad of the Boundless Blue and Flowing Purity, as they do not have any situational requirements. However, the other options may have some limitations.
Eye of Perception and Frostbearer are both formidable against large groups of enemies and can even surpass Tulaytullah at R5 if there are sufficient foes present. However, they both fall short when it comes to single targets. Blackcliff Agate also necessitates that one engages with multiple enemies in order to accumulate ATK buffs from its passive.
The Widsith and Solar Pearl are typically excellent choices, but unfortunately, Wriothesley doesn't benefit greatly from Elemental Mastery, making Widsith's effectiveness highly reliant on RNG. On the other hand, Solar Pearl excels by enhancing Normal Attacks, but this boost can only be acquired if the wielder deals Elemental Skill or Burst DMG. Since Wriothesley's Skill doesn't inflict damage, the bonus for Normal Attack DMG can only be activated by his Burst, which has a longer cooldown period.
