Japan and Wit Studio are currently developing Suicide Squad ISEKAI, an anime series based on DC's Suicide Squad. While Suicide Squad ISEKAI exists independently from the live-action Suicide Squad movies, its development highlights the immense popularity of the Suicide Squad in recent years.

Suicide Squad ISEKAI will join Batman: Assault on Arkham (2014) and Suicide Squad: Hell to Pay (2018) as animated productions centering around the Suicide Squad.
