The first season of Diablo 4, known as the Season of the Malignant, is now underway. This exciting update not only allows players to delve into the new season of Diablo 4, but also introduces a variety of new and special items for high-level players to discover and enjoy. These Legendary items, tailored to different classes and builds, require players to have achieved significant progress in the game.
Players can obtain these Unique items through random drops once they have met specific requirements. Some of these items are more likely to be found by participating in certain activities or searching different chests. However, it's important to note that not all Unique items are created equal. Here is everything you need to know about Diablo 4's first season unique items.
6 The Oculus
Players can increase their chances of obtaining The Oculus by defeating world bosses.
Play in the higher world tiers
Play in legion events
Complete nightmare dungeons
Complete whispers of the dead requests
Play in Helltides and open the mystery chests
Open chests and caches
Defeating powerful foes
Although the drop rate of The Oculus, a Unique item, is relatively low, obtaining it requires some serious grinding and dedication. This item bestows the Teleport Enchantment upon players for free, though some find this ability underwhelming compared to other Season of the Malignant additions.
5 Azurewrath
Azurewrath is an exceptional blade exclusively designed for Barbarians. With its special attribute, this weapon offers significant advantages specifically tailored to the Barbarian class. When utilizing core abilities, players wielding Azurewrath possess the ability to freeze adversaries for a duration of three seconds. In addition to this remarkable freezing capability, Azurewrath also boasts a formidable cold damage potential of up to 13,609. This exceptional damage output is undeniably a treasure that no self-respecting Barbarian would want to overlook.
4 Eaglehorn
The Eaglehorn is a one-of-a-kind bow specifically designed for Rogues. Its unique feature enhances the devastating power of the Rogues' Penetrating Shot, making it an invaluable addition to any Rogue's arsenal. When wielding this bow, the Penetrating Shot gains a remarkable 30-80% chance to ricochet off walls and surroundings. This extraordinary ability of the Eaglehorn provides Rogues with a significant advantage in combat, allowing them to expose their enemies' vulnerabilities for a duration of three seconds when striking from behind with the Penetrating Shot. Consequently, the Eaglehorn is an absolute essential for all cunning and stealthy Rogues.
3 Fleshrender
Fleshrender is an exceptional two-handed mace known for its impressive name. Crafted specifically for Druids, this extraordinary weapon proves invaluable for Poison-themed builds. Its poison-specific unique ability enables players to harness their strengths to the utmost degree.
With the unique ability of Fleshrender, Druids can unleash a devastating blow, inflicting a maximum of 3,147 damage upon nearby poisoned enemies when executing a Debilitating Roar or a Blood Howl. This extraordinary item is exclusively obtainable in World Tiers 3 and 4, and actively engaging in the aforementioned activities amplifies the likelihood of acquiring it.
2 Lidless Wall
The Lidless Wall is a shield exclusive to the Necromancer class, offering immense power and indispensable value to dedicated players. This unique shield greatly enhances the Necromancer's combat prowess.
When a Bone Storm is in motion, there is a chance that striking an unaffected enemy will generate an extra Bone Storm at that spot. The occurrence and quantity of these additional storms are determined by the character's Sacrifice bonus. As a result, players equipped with this item must prioritize maintaining a high Sacrifice bonus to establish battlefield supremacy.
1 Ahavarion Spear of Lycander
This particular item is inclusive to all classes, allowing anyone who finds it to use it. Its rarity surpasses that of other unique items introduced this season, making it highly sought after. Its rareness can be attributed to the fact that players can only acquire it through random drops in World Tier 4 Torment Difficulty after defeating Level 85+ enemies.
Although obtaining this item requires significant effort, it proves to be worthwhile as it lives up to its reputation as a Legendary and Unique item. Once players obtain this rare item, they will be rewarded with a unique and impressive ability. When using the Ahavarion Spear of Lycander to defeat an Elite enemy, players will gain a random shrine effect that lasts for 10-20 seconds. However, this effect can only be activated once every 30 seconds.
