In Pikmin 4, the primary objective is to save Captain Olimar. However, accomplishing this task does not guarantee a 100% completion rate in the game. Similar to its predecessors, the latest installment of the game features various treasures to discover, Castaways to rescue, and onions to collect.
Navigating through the game's expansive levels can be challenging, making it difficult to keep track of all the tasks that demand the player's attention. For players aiming to thoroughly explore the Sun-Speckled Terrace level in Pikmin 4 and acquire all available items, this guide serves as a helpful resource.
All Treasures, Onions, & Rescues in Sun-Speckled Terrace
This starting level presents a total of 7 Rescues, 34 Treasures, and 4 Onions for players to explore. To successfully complete all tasks, the Red, Yellow, and Ice Pikmin will be required. Initially, players will only have access to the Red Pikmin, but they will eventually unlock the Ice and Yellow Pikmin.
The guide will be broken into distinct parts, with one section covering the surface world and then others diving into the different caves found on the level.
Surface World
Top-right quadrant
Treasure - Aspiration Ritual Ball: Proceed towards the northeast direction from the initial location, and utilize Oatchi to swiftly dash against the wall and dislodge the Treasure.
Treasure - Lesser Mock Bottom: Take the left pathway and ascend the slope. Smash the pottery containers to uncover the hidden Treasure.
Onion: Locate the broken pot in the northern central area to discover this onion. Utilize Yellow Pikmin for access.
Treasure - Temporal Mechanism: Head towards the south and locate this item suspended on the fence. Swiftly bring it down by charging at the fence.
Treasure - Double Dragon-Eyed Scope: Head south past the fence, and you'll find this Treasure on the planter beside the cave entrance.
Treasure - Sunseed Berry: Below the nearby cave entrance, you'll discover the Treasure sitting atop a planter.
Bottom-right quadrant
Treasure - Orb of Destruction: Go all the way to the southeast, and charge up Oatchi's rush to bring down the Treasure.
