How To Find Smuggler's Sanctuary

During the third Crusade, known as Anchordeep, the Lamb has the freedom to complete the dungeons in any preferred sequence. Within the depths of the Anchordeep dungeon, the Lamb will eventually cross paths with an NPC named Plimbo. This encounter occurs randomly. Plimbo will inform the Lamb about his collection of exclusive and scarce items that are open for trade and resale. He will even provide a marked location on the map, allowing the Lamb to conveniently visit the shop after successfully completing their current Crusade.

This section mainly focuses on utilizing gold in the form of coins or bars. It is not intended for the procurement of raw materials, but rather it provides access to a vendor and a kiosk. Additionally, after all other items have been sold, the Lamb has the ability to gather Divine Inspiration from Plimbo's small shrine.

Shopping In The Sanctuary

The Sanctuary does not have any resources such as seeds or wood, unlike other locations. However, at this point, the Lamb should have a sizable cult and enough money to spend. There are a few vendors offering valuable goods in exchange for coins.

With the introduction of the Relics of the Old Faith update, the game now includes several new follower skins and Tarot Cards. Some of these can be bought in Smuggler's Cove.

Stone Kiosk: In every corner of Cult of the Lamb, a Stone Kiosk stands, offering a variety of follower forms for purchase. The availability of these forms is contingent on the Lamb's progress in their Crusades. When all followers have been recruited, the kiosk will indicate that it is "Sold Out."

Tarot Cards: Adjacent to the Stone Kiosk sits a booth dedicated to Tarot Cards. Upon discovering specific cards within the dungeon, the selection at the booth will alter until those cards are depleted, mirroring the mechanics of the followers' kiosk.

Blueprint Vending Booth. Moreover, a vending booth is available that offers blueprints for fresh decorative elements and edifices to enhance the cult compound. While these are solely aesthetic embellishments, they possess the ability to elevate the levels of Faith, Devotion, and overall contentment among cultists.

A Guide To Smuggler's Sanctuary

Do not underestimate the deceptive appearance of this desolate place. Beyond Plimbo and his fish pirate ship, the Smuggler's Sanctuary in Cut of the Lamb is teeming with a variety of creatures, both benevolent and malevolent, lurking within the enigmatic depths of its shadowy recesses.

The Sanctuary undergoes a transformation from day to night, revealing different quests and items that can only be accessed during specific times. To uncover them all, the Lamb must explore the Sanctuary both during daylight and under the cloak of darkness.

Plimbo And The Red Crown

Plimbo is not just a seaside vendor; he also possesses several Red Crown pieces that the Lamb can utilize to enhance their abilities and acquire superior fleeces for their dungeon explorations.

The Eye of the Witness is a rare item obtained by defeating certain formidable bosses found at the end of nearly every dungeon. Plimbo will inquire about these when the Lamb meets with him. Each time the Lamb conquers one of these powerful adversaries, they acquire an Eye of the Witness. Plimbo offers four of these items for trade, completing the Crown and providing the Lamb with an additional prized fleece for their Crusades.

The Wolf Quests

Only accessible during nighttime, these secret quests involve an important step that can be found in Smuggler's Sanctuary. Despite its ominous reputation, the rewards are highly valuable.

Once the sun sets, proceed to the far end of the dock on the right side of the screen. Then, select the "Peer Into The Darkness" action.

Look for the quarter-moon symbol on the dock if unsure of where to place the Lamb.

The Wolf will rise from the murky water and ask the Lamb for a sacrifice.

The Lamb's requests will vary based on the number of previous encounters with this NPC, consistently involving disturbing and scandalous tasks. By satisfying the Lamb's desires, they will receive four Red Crown pieces along with the ability to transform into a Wolf follower.

The Crab Follower Form

The fishing minigame and Anchordeep do not provide the means to acquire it. Instead, at Smuggler's Sanctuary, a small crab scurries across the docks with great agility. Successfully capturing it as the Lamb grants access to the Crab follower form. This hidden form remains unknown to most players until they chance upon it, adding to the game's intrigue and ensuring continued engagement even after the defeat of all four Bishops.

The Snail Shrine

Unveil the elusive form of a follower by paying homage to the clandestine sanctuary of the endearing snail. This intricate quest stands as both the lengthiest and most challenging endeavor to acquire the esteemed follower skins.

The Snail Shrines are comprised of sleek pillars adorned with statues of snails atop, each present in all five designated locations.

Gather five fragments of shells amidst the Crusades to enable the Lamb to present them as offerings to the statues situated in every region, including the one situated within Smuggler's Sanctuary.

The snail statue can be found on the bottom left of the screen in Smuggler's Sanctuary. Its glowing red eyes give it a unique touch compared to other ordinary decorations.

Once the Lamb possesses the shells in their inventory, they will have the option to interact with the shrine.

The end reward is unlocking the Snail follower form.

Cult of the Lamb is out now on PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, and Nintendo Switch.
