Remnant 2: How to Get Dreamcatcher
How to Use Dreamcatcher as a Multi-purpose Tool in Remnant 2To obtain the Dreamcatcher, the initial step is to play a version of Losomn with the Asylum main scenario. This scenario revolves around investigating an Asylum in Morrow Parish. To confirm access to this scenario, players should ensure that Morrow Parish is the first area they visit in Losomn. If Morrow Parish is not the starting location, fans need to reroll their Remnant 2 campaigns (or Losomn in Adventure Mode) until it matches.
Once a player has access to the Asylum scenario, they should simply follow the primary objective markers until they reach the Asylum on the Morrow Parish map. Upon reaching this location, fans must concentrate on obtaining the Nightweaver Stone Doll. To assist in this endeavor, this guide provides instructions on how to acquire the Nightweaver Stone Doll in Remnant 2.
Once players have obtained the Nightweaver Stone Doll, their focus should now shift towards following the primary objective markers. The next marker will lead them to the top floor of the Asylum. By faithfully adhering to these markers, players will eventually reach the Shattered Gallery, where they will come across the Soulkey Tribute Quest Item adjacent to the exit of this particular map. Inserting this item into the web found in the basement of the Asylum will then activate a portal, granting access to the Tormented Asylum.
Within the confines of the Tormented Asylum, lie numerous cells in close proximity to the Checkpoint. Among these cells, a particularly notable one houses a sprawling web. When one interacts with this web, the Quest Item menu manifests, granting players the option to insert the Nightweaver Stone Doll. Once this selection is made, the Dreamcatcher is promptly bestowed upon them.
Remnant 2: Dreamcatcher Uses
As mentioned earlier, the Dreamcatcher serves a dual purpose - not only in combat situations but also when interacting with specific NPCs. Interacting with these NPCs using the Dreamcatcher will reward players with consumables that can lead to obtaining unique items. To utilize these consumables effectively, it is crucial for players to assign them to a QuickSlot.
Nimue (Crescent Moon Bow)
Players can discover Nimue, the character from Remnant 2, in her sanctuary called Nimue's Retreat on the planet Losomn. By using the Dreamcatcher item on her while she is asleep, players can obtain the valuable consumable known as Nimue's Dream. Interestingly, players can induce Nimue to fall asleep by leaving her retreat and returning multiple times. Upon consuming Nimue's Dream, players will be instantly transported to a mystical place called Retreat's Horizon. In this enchanting locale, players can collect a precious blue stone called Anamy's Echo. This stone can be taken to McCabe, who can utilize it to craft the powerful Crescent Moon bow.
The Huntress (Familiar Weapon Mod)
In addition to occasionally chasing players through Losomn's Ironborough and Forsaken Quarter, the Remnant 2 boss known as the Huntress can also be discovered in a slumbering state on these maps. If fans manage to strike this sleeping boss with the Dreamcatcher, they will be rewarded with the Huntress's Dream consumable. Using this item will transport players to Briella's Reverie, where they will face off against the Huntress. Successfully defeating her will result in obtaining the Sacred Hunt Feather, a valuable material used in the creation of the Familiar weapon mod found in Ward 13.
Pod on Root Earth's Corrupted Harbor Map (Invader Archetype)
After passing the mid-map Checkpoint on Root Earth's Corrupted Harbor map, players will come across an engine room. They can exit this room through a path on the ground level, leading them to a spacious arena. Once the battle in the arena is complete, players should use the Dreamcatcher to strike the large glowing pod on the ground. This action will reward them with the Escalation Protocol Amulet and grant access to the Walker's Dream consumable. Using the consumable will transport Soulslike fans to a boss fight against Bane. Defeating Bane will drop a Wooden Shiv, which can then be given to Wallace in Ward 13 to unlock the Invader Archetype.
Remnant 2 is currently available for PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X.
