To access the Archon Archetype, players must follow a precise character loadout that includes specific relics, rings, and Archetype skills. However, this Archetype is not easily stumbled upon by chance and requires players to unlock two secret Archetypes, the Explorer and the Invader.

In order to gain access to the Corrupted Biome Portal in the Labyrinth's Backrooms, players must undergo corruption. To do this, they must first replicate Ford's loadout, which includes every aspect from the armor set to the amulet. This loadout is essential for opening the portal:

Armor Set (Headwear, Body, Leg, and Glove Armor): Realmwalker (Explorer Archetype)

Relic: Void Heart

Long Gun: Ford's Scattergun

Melee Weapon: Labyrinth Staff

Handgun: Cube Gun

Ring One: Zania's Malice

Ring Two: Anastasija's Inspiration

Ring Three: Black Cat Band

Ring Four: Amber Moonstone

Amulet: Leto's Amulet

Archetype Skill: Worm Hole (Invader)

Archetype Skill: Fortune Hunter (Explorer)

How To Get The Gear For The Archon Archetype

Obtaining the necessary gear to enter the Corrupted Biome Portal requires players to meet specific requirements. Numerous items can only be obtained by completing quests or performing certain actions. Here is a concise guide on how to acquire these items.

The Realmwalker Armor Set can be obtained by players upon completing Remnant 2's main story and meeting the necessary conditions to unlock the Explorer Archetype.

To acquire the Void Heart Relic, players must defeat Sha'Hala in N'Erud, then proceed to travel to Alepsis-Taura in N'Erud. Inside the void portal, players will locate an orb. It is important to note that Alepsis-Taura will only become accessible after a 24-hour real-time period has elapsed since Sha'Hala's defeat, and this action cannot be performed if the player possesses the Override pin.

To obtain Ford's Scattergun, players can either choose the Explorer Archetype or please the Eternal Empress in Yaesha. If players choose the latter, they can use the ring given by the Empress to unlock a secret door on the floor.

To locate the Labyrinth Staff, players should walk towards the shifting portal in the Labyrinth and then move to the left. They need to walk off the ledge to the immediate left of the broken staircase, where a path will appear. The next gap will have a temporary vanishing platform. Players will need to defeat the Bastion boss in order to obtain the staff.

Cube Gun can be crafted by McCabe in Ward 13 once players have acquired the Conflux Prism, its core material, by defeating the Labyrinth Sentinel.

Zania's Malice can be discovered in Root Earth's Ashen Wasteland within a narrow opening that players must crawl through. This opening is located across from the small checkpoint, positioned past the bridge where the parked cars can be found.

You can find Anastasija's Inspiration for sale at Whispers in Ward 13 or on Root Earth.

The Black Cat Band can be found at Reggie's shop in Ward 13, but obtaining it requires the player to die multiple times.

Leto's Amulet is available for purchase from Reggie once players have executed 100 flops, which happen when they surpass their weight limit and attempt an evasive roll.

The level five skill for the Invader Archetype is Worm Hole (Invader).

Fortune Hunter (Explorer) is acquired by reaching level 10 with the Explorer Archetype.

How To Get The Archon Archetype

The Ultimate Guide to Mastering the Archon Archetype in Remnant 2

After players have equipped their character with the necessary gear, they must proceed to the Corrupted Biome Portal. This can be reached by entering the shifting portal located in the Labyrinth, where the materials for the Enigma handgun can be found. To gain entry, players must first become corrupted, as indicated by the surrounding red corruption field. By using a Biome Portal Key, players will unlock access to the elusive yellow Backrooms, where the secret material needed to craft the powerful Archon Engram lies hidden.

Upon entering the brightly colored maze of hallways, players will be given a 90-second time limit to locate the item before being expelled from the room. In the event that the item is not found within the allotted time, players can return to the room indefinitely, eliminating the need for panic. To efficiently reach the required Strange Box, players should navigate the room in the following sequence: right, right, second left, right, left, left, right, left, right. Eventually, they will encounter a dead end where the item resides.

It is worth mentioning that the room is also home to two highly advantageous items: the Gunfire Security Lanyard, which automatically reloads the magazine over time, and the Bisected Ring, which grants the player unlimited stamina. To locate these items, it is recommended to utilize the Archer's Fortune Hunter Archetype Skill, which allows for the detection of valuable items through walls and displays their locations on the mini-map.

After discovering the Strange Box, players should proceed to visit Wallace and exchange it for 1,000 Scrap and 10 Lumenite Crystals. Once the transaction is finalized, players will obtain the Hexahedron and gain access to the Archon Archetype. Remnant 2 can now be enjoyed on PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC.
